1. Purpose and Eligibility
This site exists to coordinate the KD Alpha Iota Centennial Reunion weekend. The Event refers specifically to the Committee organized and ticketed portions of the weekend, currently planned as the Friday mixer and house tours, which may include invited non-member guests included under a member's ticket, and the Sunday Centennial Luncheon Banquet, which is limited to current Kappa Delta collegians and alumnae.
The Committee also facilitates informal coordination for unofficial weekend activities, including a Saturday football game tailgate interest form and an optional Decades Dinner interest form. Facilitating this coordination does not make the Committee the organizer, host, or operator of the football game, any tailgate, the watch party, or the dinner itself, all of which remain independently organized by third parties, individual alumnae, or the venues involved.
These Terms are between you and Alpha Iota of Kappa Delta Inc. ('the Committee,' 'we,' or 'us'), the organization coordinating the Event. This site is administered on the Committee's behalf by a volunteer member. All rights, licenses, and obligations described in these Terms belong to the Committee, not to any individual volunteer or administrator.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you agree to use the site only for Event related purposes, to keep your sign-in credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account except to the extent caused by our failure to safeguard it.
2. Communications
By registering, you consent to receive Event-related communications as described in our Privacy Policy and consent flow at registration. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; you will continue to receive essential Event-logistics communications (e.g., schedule changes) tied to your registration.
3. Tickets and Payments
Ticket purchases and donations will be processed by CrowdChange, a third-party payment processor, once that integration is live; in the interim you may be redirected to a pending CrowdChange screen. Your use of CrowdChange's payment services is subject to CrowdChange's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or outages caused by CrowdChange's platform.
Ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets are non-transferable. For questions about your registration, contact admin@uclakd100.org.
4. Donations
Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
Alpha Iota of Kappa Delta Inc. is not a tax-exempt organization. Donations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your donation except as noted at checkout.
5. Memories Gallery - User Content License
By uploading a photo or video, you affirm that you own the content or have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights. You grant the Committee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to reproduce, display, and use the content on this site and in Centennial-related materials (print or digital).
Raw uploaded content will be deleted as part of the Committee's standard data deletion process described in the Privacy Policy. At the Committee's discretion, select uploaded content may be compiled into derivative works, including a Centennial highlight reel or similar commemorative media, before that deletion occurs. Not all uploaded content will necessarily be used, including duplicate or similar submissions. Derivative works the Committee creates may be retained and used indefinitely, independent of the deletion of the underlying raw uploads.
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, contact admin@uclakd100.org with a description of the material and its location; we will review and remove content found to be infringing. You may request removal of your own uploaded raw content at any time prior to its incorporation into a derivative work or distributed print material by contacting admin@uclakd100.org.
6. Event Participation and Assumption of Risk
Attendance at the Event is voluntary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk of injury, loss, or damage arising from your attendance, whether caused by the Committee, the venue, event vendors, or other attendees, and you release the Committee, the UCLA Luskin Conference Center, event vendors, and their respective staff and volunteers from liability for such claims, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. If you bring a guest to the Friday mixer under your ticket, you are responsible for ensuring your guest understands and agrees to this assumption of risk before attending.
The Committee's facilitation of tailgate or dinner coordination through interest forms is provided solely to help members connect with one another. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk arising from your participation in any tailgate, watch party, or dinner arranged through this coordination, and you release the Committee from liability for the conduct of other attendees, third party venues, or vendors involved in these activities, except to the extent caused by the Committee's gross negligence or willful misconduct in operating the interest forms themselves.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Committee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or attendance at the Event. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Committee's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site or attendance at the Event will not exceed the amount you paid to the Committee for the Event.
8. Termination
The Committee may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that disrupts the Event or other members' use of the site. Where practical, the Committee will notify you of the reason for suspension or termination. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any ticket purchase or donation. The Committee reserves the right to deny entry to the Event to any person whose account has been terminated for cause.
9. Changes to the Event or These Terms
The Event is subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond the Committee's control, including venue availability, weather, or public health guidance. In the event of a full cancellation of the Event by the Committee, the Committee will determine, at its discretion, whether refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements will be offered; ticket sales remain otherwise non-refundable as stated in Section 3. The Committee may update these Terms from time to time; the 'Last updated' date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
11. California Residents
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following consumer rights notice: you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs by mail at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (916) 445-1254 or (800) 952-5210.
